My breeding plans for the coming 6-12 months
Ok, bit of a change from what was here previously.
We've been thinking about the best ways to progress for next year, and have decided to settle for a few quality breeds as our "mainstream" and have other occasional breeds as the opportunity arises.
Main stock for next year (from february onwards)
Light Sussex Large Fowl - POL and growers

Maran Large Fowl - POL and growers

plus a whole host of hybrids that are produced by my birds that aren't in a specific breeding avery. These will generally be really pretty and perhaps a bizarre combination, but lots of people (myself included) quite often want a bird that is pretty, regardless if it is a pure breed or not.
I am always happy to hatch specific birds for people, it generally takes 4 weeks to source and hatch eggs, then 4 weeks or so under a broody. If you want anything in particular, please just ask.
